Off Center Harbor's Remarks
A friend of ours had a Piccolo some years ago and because of its light weight, small size, and overall ease of handling, it put her on the water more than any boat she ever owned. This canoe sails like a dream in moderate weather and if you also love to paddle in the early morning or evening when the sea breeze is down, this might be the boat for you.
Description from Boat's Main Listing
Weighing in at an alleged 50 lbs completely stripped down, this sailing canoe was designed to carry 2 people (snugly), be easily car-toppable, and swiftly paddled. Born out of a rainy November day over at WoodenBoat and rigged as a cat ketch with lugsails, we have enjoyed some of the warmer days of fall scooting around in this boat. The canoe is finished in white paint and varnish. It is displayed in the entrance of our shop.
Beam: 2’ 4”
