Off Center Harbor's Remarks
Here is a 16’ plywood kayak sturdy enough to pull up on the beach yet light enough (at 31 lbs.) to easily carry above the high tide line.
Description from Boat's Main Listing
I built this kayak of plywood. It is lightweight with fabric (heat shrink Dacron) decks. It has a large cockpit, good for fishing with plenty of room for your child or dog. It’s open under the decks for gear. Weighs only 31 pounds; has a foam mini-cell seat and adjustable backband from Chesapeake Light Craft. Not for whitewater, but can handle moderate waves. Best on lakes and calm water. Just needs a new coat of paint on the hull.
