Off Center Harbor's Remarks

When a Maine lobsterman is in the sunset of a successful career, the thing he wants most for himself is a Peter Kass-built wooden boat. Instead of hitting waves with a bang, like in a fiberglass boat, a boat built of wood rides smooth and soft, like your grandmothers Buick. And Kass boats look great, too—like the 24-footer listed here. So good, in fact, that when you're steaming home after a day on the water you’ll get many a wave from from local lobstermen.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

This Peter Kass / Johns Bay Boat Co. lobster yacht is a distinct blend of Downeast practicality and cruising comforts. Built in 1984, the boat has been well cared for and recently received significant updates. A 2017-2018 survey will be available shortly.
