Description from Boat's Main Listing
ANNIE is a Fenwick Williams-designed (1934) double-ended yawl built by Arundel Shipyard in 1980.
24′ LOA, 8’8″ beam, 3’10” draft
Cedar planking on white oak frames on 8″ centers. Teak decks
Yanmar 2GM20F rebuilt in 2015 with 0 hours, new running gear, new dripless stuffing box.
She has undergone an extensive restoration by me over the last 10 years (in between my paying jobs) including refastening of bottom, replacing garboards and broad strakes, replacing broken frames, and replacing or repairing floors under the engine. Installed two new custom aluminum fuel tanks. Refastened teak deck where needed (40%) along with caulking and teak deck system. Removed and re-bedded of all hardware. Her exterior has been wooded, repainted, and varnished with appropriate quantities of both. (6-8 coats varnish, 3 coats paint over primer.)
All new wiring and batteries. Electronics include depth and speed indicators, and autopilot. (Radar removed but still available).
New running rigging 2015, used only one season. Sails are in great shape and are currently at sail loft being cleaned.
Many other things were done, but that about sums things up.
She is well known to the wooden boat world, having been featured in several issues of Woodenboat magazine, most notably in issue 41 which showed her on the cover.
I hate to see her go but need to make room for other projects.
