Off Center Harbor's Remarks
We have loved this design ever since we saw naval architect Bill Garden sketch her out on a napkin. Without doubt, West Coast boats have a charm all their own, but it would take a spatial genius like Garden to lay out a 27’ boat that feels so roomy below, even to six footers. Because she has been so lightly used over her relatively short life span, was built of first class materials, and was in the hands of owners who knew how to keep her right, she is quite a bargain.
Description from Boat's Main Listing
KISMET is a well built William Garden design based on the West coast troller/cruiser models of which he has done several. She has been well cared for and lightly used, and the owner reports:
“As Kismet stands she is fully functional and ready for sea. She has proved to be a comfortable vessel for both short and longer term cruising and we are only giving her up due to our increasing ages. We will miss her greatly, not only for her looks and her comfort, but also for her performance and sea keeping abilities.”
