Off Center Harbor's Remarks

Maine boatbuilder Glenn Holland always had a distinctive eye for hull shape. Among his favorites were the wooden Beal’s Island lobster boats of the 1960s. So when it came time for him to start building fiberglass models in his Belfast shop, quite naturally he went in this direction. The Holland 30’ shown here is one of the handsomest Downeast cruisers you’re likely to find. And the fact that she has been in the same hands for 25 years and completed some major cruises pretty much guarantees a good boat worth looking into further.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

JAEGER is one of only five Holland 30’s built by Glenn Holland before he extended the back deck by two feet and reintroduced the vessel as the 32′ Holland. JAEGER is a very handsome lobster-style cruiser which has had only three owners in her 39 years. Current owner has owned JAEGER for 24 years, and cruised the Erie Canal, Lake Champlain, and the Maine Coast several times all the way North to Roque Island. JAEGER is the ideal weekender or cruiser, offering 14-15 knots cruising speed. Wouldn’t you enjoy seeing her swinging on her mooring off your waterfront property? Please call today for your inspection of this handsome Holland – known as one of the prettiest lobster cruisers ever built.

OWNER’S COMMENTS: I have owned this boat for 25 years and she has served us very well. She is very seaworthy, handles well and do not be concerned with the cockpit exhaust. It has worked well for us and even dries out our towels when needed.
