Off Center Harbor's Remarks

Full Disclosure. The guy writing this owns a Concordia 31 and has done so for more than 20 years. For him it has been a perfect coastal cruiser. He likes the way she sails, particularly the way she meets a 2 foot chop when the afternoon Southerly kicks up in the bay. He likes the simplicity of her finish: half-workboat, half-yacht. He likes the fact that she was built in The Concordia Yard under Waldo Howland's oversight. He like her roominess below, particularly her 6’2” headroom. When all is said, he’d probably buy this one if he didn’t already have one.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

A wonderful family cruiser, KITTIWAKE has had many recent upgrades in the last 10 years or so as described above including refastened with Monel below the waterline, rewiring and new circuit breaker panel, new Dynel side decks, new mahogany trunk cabin, new stanchions and lifelines, new S/S standing rigging and more. She is in excellent condition, both structurally and cosmetically. Although her Gray Marine engine is original, it was rebuilt in 2001 and runs flawlessly. Here is an opportunity to own a pedigree Waldo Howland, Concordia 31 Sloop, one of the prettiest boats in the harbor. Thank you for your interest.
