Off Center Harbor's Remarks

This lovely 5.5 meter sloop could change the way you experience sailing. It’s hard to imagine a faster, more able boat for an afternoon on the bay. Why settle for less?

Description from Boat's Main Listing

Designed and built by Bjarne Aas in Frederickstad, Norway, in 1965, this 5.5-meter class sloop has mahogany planking on steam-bent ash frames. She’s bronze fastened throughout with aluminum spars, new (in 2012) mainsail, jib, and spinnaker. Her hull has new frames and floor timbers, and has been refastened and partially re-planked. The deck structure and deck itself are also new. In short, she’s a fast boat in great shape, and places in her class at ERR every year! Boat number: 568; class number: US62.
