Off Center Harbor's Remarks

If you have done any sort of powerboat shopping, you have already noticed that they are very expensive. Among the reasons is that their powerplants cost more than sailboat auxiliaries. They also have more elaborate accoutrements in their galleys and heads. Beyond these things, as aging baby boomers switch from sail to power, there is simply more demand for powerboats. This model caught our eye because of its high level of finish and the fact that she is powered with a highly regarded Caterpillar diesel engine. Look at the pictures carefully. Imagine yourself on the flying bridge, relaxing in one of those nifty deck chairs in the cockpit as the boat swings at anchor. If you want a boat that sets your friends to drooling, this maybe the one for you. But if you buy her, you’d better like varnishing, or have the wherewithal to hire that job out.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

Quickstep is a head turner wherever she goes! She is a downeast cruiser with the classic lines that Wilbur yachts are known for. Custom built by Skip Zahniser of Solomons Island, Maryland, on a Wilbur 34 hull, she was launched in 1989 and was the Zahniser family boat, Rebecca Z, for 10 years. Once onboard you will immediately notice the beautiful, custom African mahogany and teak woodworking. Her current owner has had her professionally maintained by Bay Shore Marine and Diversified Marine Services for the last 16 years, and winter shrink-wrapped for the past 13 years. Her brightwork throughout is maintained in excellent condition!

She is a spacious 34 foot yacht which is perfect for fishing, cruising, sunning and socializing. With her dark green Awlgrip hull, flybridge and teak brightwork she turns heads wherever she goes!
