Off Center Harbor's Remarks

The Derecktor boatyard was in its prime when they built this S&S beauty and she is still in great shape.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

VARUNA (EX: MARIANNE) has had only two owners since she was built in 1962 of aluminum by the renowned Derecktor Shipyard in Mamaroneck, NY. Built to the CCA rule, she has stunning Sparkman & Stephens lines, and is reported to still win races in Eastern Long Island Sound due to her fine turn of speed. She has 2010 sails and dodger, and is ideally suited for a family with her seven berths and a good galley. Her 75 hp diesel has approximately 2500 hours. VARUNA is priced to sell quickly as her owners are now interested in downsizing. Please call us for your inspection of this lovely yawl. Thank you for your interest.
