Off Center Harbor's Remarks

(Was $29,500) For a rugged boat with substantial space a West Coast troller-type may be just the thing. Converted trollers make wonderful pleasure cruisers, still retaining their good looks.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

“Second Chance” underwent a complete renovation for her yacht conversion over a six-year period ending in April 2012. That conversion included; minor hull re-planking as needed, all new 110v and 12v wiring and breaker panels were installed, steel fuel tanks were removed and refurbished, new waste and water plumbing systems in place, a fully rebuilt six-cylinder Volvo diesel was installed at “0” hours, and much, much more.

She was then run out on her ‘maiden voyage’ by her new owners – a leisurely six-month summer gunkholing cruise up the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert and home to Washington. What a great adventure!

Built by the Stockland Boatyard in Delta, British Columbia, she retains her beautiful ‘troller’ appearance and deck gear. There is work left to be completed to finish out the aft deckhouse for a bunk room according to her next owner’s needs. There’s ample space on the aft deck for a small gathering of friends at dockside enjoying a crab fest and beverages. Her cozy pilothouse is warmed by a hearty Dickinson stove.

Seriously stout and capable, “Second Chance” will take you wherever you dream to go offshore as you cruise our fabulous Northwest coastal waters. Her top-of-the-line navigation and electronics will get you anywhere safe and sound, and the quality of her conversion systems have been proven by rigorous use.
