Marine Photographer
Benjamin Mendlowitz is one of America’s preeminent marine photographers. He is known throughout the world for his enduring Calendar of Wooden Boats, now in its 30th year, and for his work in various nautical publications such as WoodenBoat, Nautical Quarterly, Sail, Yachting, Cruising World, Professional Boatbuilder, Maine Boats, Homes and Harbors, Chasse Maree, Maritime Life and Traditions and many others. Besides the Calendar of Wooden Boats, eight books of his photographs have been published, he has shown his work at a score of major maritime museums and galleries, and he has been featured in several public broadcasting television specials.
