Do you have any thoughts on aqua thane style paints, or do they fit into the poly urethanes? Apparently they can be thinned with water.

Good advice and tips I wish I had before I started my project.
Also temp. of 2 pack top coat is very important. I wasted $110 of paint to find out the topcoat is best pre-warmed to ideal ambient temp.
This being in Australia on the coast in area we do not even have frost.
Interlux was the product. Great paint. deep luster and hard as nails but almost a pro paint.

That tack cloth tip is worth the price of admission, eh? Another tip to go with it, purchase the better tack clothes, cause the cheap ones don’t fold out so easy.

I next search will be on varnish- I still get dust or varnish crystals- only in the garage not on the masts ?
