We need more Gypsies – wonderful boats that help blokes talk.

This is another video that inspires. Would have been nice to do a segment or even whole video of all the workings.

Terrific account of a great group of guys in a great boat with lots of history together.
Perhaps I missed it but do we know if Gypsy has an engine? The few frames in a canal with locks suggest the answer but wondering .

This boat looks a lot like a Seagoer Yawl (which I own one built in the 1930’s)
    Love the video…thanks a lot

I love this video. It is not about the boat, but it is about time and perspective. One cannot gain sight unless he he has a true perspective in life. Cheers

You guys just keep on doing it. It takes a light touch to capture the magic of Tassie boats and crews without portraying both as anachronisms. The magical timbers (and high craftsmanship) keep them going as long as the world’s best and they are lively, sailed by vital people in challenging waters over the world’s best cruising grounds. All this is clear in this delightful film for which I am very grateful.

What a fabulous boat and heartfelt story. In a day of push button life and push button sailing what a relief to see and listen to a bygone era that still thrives down under. Great story. Now I want to go visit Gypsy
