Is there any answers to the above questions as I have the same dilemma ( cold Moulder hull and wanting to put the traditional shear on her )

I’m also intrigued by the use of hot melt glue, which looks like it could solve innumerable shop dilemmas, if properly deployed. Sort of like a “sky hook” in building construction. Please explain. Thanks!

I have the same question as Charles thompson, how do you remove the hot melt clamp anchors off the hull with out damaging the underlying cold molded hull. I often use tack holt melt glue welds to hold temporary jigs and just tap the anchor with a hammer or sometimes a chisel and hammer on occaion, that will lift fiber off the good surface which you did not want to damage with screws….. so how do you remove the hot melt glue secured clamp anchors with out damaging the hull…..

I found out that rubbing alcohol works like magic to get the shot glue to release.
