Thanks Bill what a great tribute to a beautiful man.
The years I spent working with and counting on him as a friend are some of the best I have spent.
    He is greatly missed.

I paddled Peter’s Dirigo Kayak back in the early 80’s, before we saw many kayaks around coastal Maine. It was a demo he had, and it didn’t take much convincing from Peter to take it home with me. It was a wonderful craft, a pleasure to paddle. The Dirigo set the bar, and that same kayak still explores the waters in Downeast Maine. His personal touch was left with many of us.

What a wonderful man! Having spent a summer in Boothbay Harbor and sailed the coast of Maine on the schooner “Tabor Boy” over a period of three years, I have an affinity for the Down East area.

Thanks for sharing Peter’s inspirational life with us.
