Made one from plywood and kevlar line as an experiment on the same horses I use with Manning benches. Works great! It makes me think I may not need any wall mounted benches in the shop I’m building. Thanks, Harry!

This saw horse modification continues to earn its keep in our shop. Here are three observations that may help if you decide to try this out.
Notice that the peg that the clamp head hangs on when not in use is off center so that it will not interfere with the clamp when it is in use.
The foot pedal protrudes only an inch or so outside of the horse’s leg. If it stuck out any further it would tip the horse toward the user when pressed upon.
As a light grasp with the left hand of the board being cut is often helpful, I think the setup as shown is best for a right hander. A left handed person would want to build a mirror image.

That is amazing! Would love to replicate all the hand operated tools, even “power” tools in my home workshop that Harry has in his. So much joy comes from working with wood.

Harry: If you reverse the orientation and set the clamp on the reverse side you can use you right foot to set the clamp you will not have to hold the sawed end of the plank cross-handed. Of course. your set-up works great for lefties.

It’s a clever device. Just be aware that in a commercial shop the sawhorse will need one at each end. Roughly 1/8 of us are left-handed (a similar percentage are left-footed, and a somewhat smaller percentage of us are both). Those of us that are so would be using the other end of the sawhorse! Of course, in our personal shop, we put it to suit ourselves.
