I like the story and the product, but I had to wince at the hand made romance of the shavings coming of the tools knowing the really hard critical work was done by the cad/cnc combo of magic. Anyone trying to make something really by hand and make it fair and symmetrical gets to be more ‘romantic’

Yes, it is a marketing tool, an infomercial, selling a product, and as a lifelong woodworker, I had the same reaction as Jeff D. But it is less hyperbolic than most modern marketing, and I acknowledge and appreciate the work and risk taken by small business entrepreneurs using ingenuity, and creating products and jobs where they previously did not exist. I also learned a great trick: using Gore-tex fabric to vent a hollow wood board!
