Here’s a well-made video showing the building and sailing of Russell Brown’s PT11, with just the right flow and without the awful music we often hear on YouTube videos. True, this Lyle Lovett song is a little cliche, but Lyle Lovett always gets a pass on OCH. I’ll own one of these boats some day.

Stephen Perreault says:
I need to get back to work on my PT 11. I bought a Catalina 27 last spring and the project has been ignored. Awesome video!

A really enjoyable video production. The boat, super neat!
Andrew Stanek says:
Beautiful video and song. Definitely on my bucket list for a retirement project in my basement.
Sam Huber says:
Waiting for my kit to arrive. I’m guessing it will take me a bit longer than 3 minutes and 28 seconds. But thanks for the challenge!
Steve Callahan says:
The PT 11 wonderfully balances the cruising practicality of a load-carrying dinghy and the performance of a Laser. She is fantastically fun to sail or row, and the kits are created with a stunning focus on quality.
Al Wehren says:
Great boat, great song.
Kimberly Young says:
I must have watched that video more than a dozen times before I ordered my PT11 kit!
Daryl Clark says:
Love ‘If I had a boat’ by Lyle Lovett! Beautiful craftsmanship and a lovely sailing dinghy! Definitely not an ‘Old Fat Boat’ (Larry Carpenter) – and you would love to row her too…
Jim Hansen says:
Oh oh oh oh oh, what a beautiful little craft, and what a beautiful little video. Seeing it out on the water…brought a tear to my eye. I, too, have got to have one of those some day.

Lyle is Just All Right with me. And Russel has made it possible to
enjoy the water from a one car garage. Thanks for a v. High quality job,
video and boat.
