The cradle is designed to steady the boat at low tide? At first I didn’t understand what it was for, but I guess there is a reason. Clever that it floats just so.

I’ve been considering a sculling oar for my Caledonia Yawl but would really want it to brake down to be able to stow it away. could you comment on what looks like a scarf joint and how its held together.

We have a photo of Harry’s scarf set up we will include in the video on Katie soon. But you may have issues with the rudder and mizzen mast to work around.

99 out of any 100 people would wonder how to get a boat lift installed, or how to dredge the channel in from the bay, or how to better secure the boat when she’s anchored out in the bay in rough weather…. Harry sees the problem, and is not afraid to imagine….. that’s the blessed genius of Harry Bryan- his head and heart are wired in such a way that he naturally, effortlessly sees possibilities that most of us don’t immediately (or ever) see….. he instinctively acts from a place of freedom to imagine things, and that freedom to imagine frees him to find and execute a practical solution…. what a gift.
I wrote some year ago that I wanted to be Harry Bryan when I grow up. With each new OCH film featuring Harry, that opinion is strengthened and confirmed.
