    Poulsbo?
I am Danish, my family name, Smith comes from English ancestors. But Poul is danished spelled and bo is house or dwelling.
What is the story behind Poulsbo?
May I use the opportunity to expres my joy of every mail from OCH..

Hi Poul – thanks for the kind words and interesting breakdown.

Poulsbo, where Ronald Young built hundreds of these boats, is a small town across the water from Seattle, WA, founded by Norwegian immigrants in the late-1800s.

    Whoops!
The boat you are showing is not the boat whose drawings you display.
The building is of the standard “16” transomed inboard designed and built by Ronald Young for so many years.
The drawings are for one of his rare double enders!
Losing some credibility here. . .

Good catch, Gordon. It looks like NWSWB used those drawings for effect, but I also see that they’re for a double-ender. (This video was produced by the school, not OCH).
