This and Sean’s previous series on OCH are masterful examples of clear explanation of technical, specialist processes. Met the guy at the Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart some years ago (pre-COVID, seems like aeons ago) and he was as pleasant and self-effacing in person as he is in these videos. He and his students produced a beautiful Herreshoff 12 1/2 (I think it was) from a big log of Huon pine salvaged from a water catchment – superbly crafted.
