Preview: Conversations with The Lobster Lady, Virginia Oliver

This is one of my favorite stories to discover lately. May we all be as healthy and strong as Virginia Oliver in our futures. At 103, Virginia is Maine’s oldest lobster trapper. This video was made when she was 100, but she is still trapping lobsters to this day!

Well, I am gobsmacked . When I started to watch this video, I thought the bloke was her husband.
What Stamina she has. Today’s children wouldn’t have a clue what Work is, Lobster Lady could teach them so much about getting off their buts and making their own life story something to be recognised for their own life and their children.
I’m from Australia and my grandchildren couldn’t get off their buts to save themselves.
Thank You Virginia for your Life’s beautiful story. oxox.

Fabulous! What an inspiration for us older ladies to get up off our fannys and continue to have fun on the water, as long as we can. God Bless her!

Amazing lady! Hope she is still riding the waves. Great film to show in schools as proof a college education is not needed to live a satisfying and rewarding life. Thank you for showing it.

Virginia is an American Treasure. This is certainly one of the best films from OCH. Thank you for sharing it with the OCH community.
