Great video, capturing the atmosphere of PT. I spent a lot of time there evaluating it for a place to retire. Downeast Maine won out but living in PT would be pretty nice.

Steve- We retired to Maine but when my wife’s mom ‘aged out’ of driving we drove her car to the Pac NW for our daughter’s use. She’d been living in Seattle and near Annacortes for a number of years by then. We took ferries to PT, Friday Harbor and to Desolation Sound, etc., for side trips. The Pac NW was enchanting and we did think of how it compared to the Maine Coast… but we couldn’t have afforded the real estate price differences given what we wanted.

The music you’ve selected for your PT Festival Instas showing boats undersail is great. More and more I come to OCH just for the music!

Yet Another lovely OCH video. I was there, finally, this year, but not around dawn, as I was staying across The Sound, at my brother’s place in Coupeville. We hadn’t planned far enough in advance to get rooms in PT, or even reservations to bring a car/trailer/boat on the ferry, but walked on, every day. Nice to see you there, Eric, and to get to be one of the throng of greybeards who got to thank you for what you all are doing. All the best!

I loved your ability to stay silent doing such a moving row through the port Townsend new arrivals. As usual I admire you greatly. Thank you George
