We, Museum of Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, have 1905 steamboat that was restored more than 20 years ago. Needless to say, we always have repair work to do to the wooden boat. This series will definitely help us in doing the repair work. How to make patterns and hopefully to create replacement planking for the boat.

Can’t wait to follow this series. I own a Jarvis Newman/Concordia 36 here in the Pacific Northwest and just love it. I can’t go anywhere near a dock without somebody giving us a compliment…which has nothing to do with me as much as it’s about that Maine Lobster Boat beautiful lines and aesthetics.

Hi Joshua, the paint is a Kirby formula that seals up oak better than most paints so it won’t check etc…

Since I building a Lobster Boat myself at the moment in Switzerland, Interesting to follow and compare at the same time here all the similar steps like Peter is doing. Great Job Peter and many thanks to OCH to run that series.
