Sean and Peter are great presenters as well as knowledgeable builders.
I built my 14′ clinker motor boat in an evening hobby class, 2001-2004.
The instructor Bill Pride is now 96, still going. What a champ!
Before that I always wondered how such magicians fitted all these pieces into a wooden boat.
What a ride to build my own and learn the tricks of the trade.John Marks, Werribee, Australia.

I’ve built a few boats and a couple canoes (and just finished a cradle boat for my great grandson) as an amateur. Traditional designs but somewhat modern construction. I don’t know that I would have the patience, know how, or time to build a boat using these traditional methods.

But, Peter’s straight forward and honest presentation makes this about the most interesting series I have ever watched, and everything procedurally seems to be covered without taking anything for granted and creating mysteries here or there.

I don’t know who else is involved on the production team, but Peter is to be commended for his knowledge, skill, and teaching skill.

Well now that’s about the best compliment anyone could get. Thank you!
Steve Stone and Maynard Bray as well as the rest of the team at Off Center Harbor have a lot to do with this coming out as well as it has!

This is definitely one of my favorite OCH video series, and perhaps favorite boatbuilding series. Big timbers, clear explanations, and simple tools almost everyone has. I think I have a broken Stanley chisel somewhere…
