She was purpose-built in 1935 for two Inuit fur trappers and used extensively in the Canadian high Arctic to deliver furs to market and to take winter supplies back to their home port. NORTH STAR has lived a rich life since then as an educational nd family ship, but the time has come for a total restoration.
