An amazing ship! I had the pleasure and honor of sailing aboard her three times; the last time was off Morro Bay Ca. with a boatload of people in about 22 knots of wind. I was standing near the helm talking to Captn. Craig Shipman (R.I.P.) when he says “Take the helm, Brian, I’m going forward”…So I stepped up to the plate (so to speak..) and got to drive her for almost an hour…way cool! Craig later asked me to be the cook on the Transpac adventure (I’m a trained chef) but because of other commitments I was unable to do so.

The girl that compares Lynx to a racing vessel, Kate Theisen, was an alternate crew on Roy Disney’s 2007 “Morning Light”.

After the 2009 Transpac, Lynx moored at Kewalo Basin for a week, firing cannons on entrance and exit of the harbor–what a great vessel 122′ overall!
