Some eight years ago when they were just kids, Dan and David fellfor this 8′ punt as soon as they saw it—newly brought home in a fit of nostalgia by their grandparents. It could be the first boat that really belonged to them, they figured—to name, paint, row, and maybe even sail. Soon it was theirs, all theirs, including the painting.

    Ditto, the great pictures. Takes me back to my first boat, a ten ft. flat bottom row boat. Cross planked bottom, of course. Big fun!
