One design question for Mr. Hawkins, if I may. I love the square cabin windows on Vela. They are so distinctive and give her a special look. I’m curious if he took this idea from the square cabin windows on NGH’s NY 30’s. Jon Gibney

I did not only the shape but the construction details of the house deck combo. The whole thing is so simple light and strong. light and air below were important to me.
