Preview: Willie Nelson, Walt Wilkins, and OCH

I saw a great video recently on the web that I thought OCH members would truly enjoy, although it doesn’t have a single boat in it, and it was shot in the Texas Hill Country.

When many of us think of the Texas Hill Country, we think of Willie Nelson. In the old days, if you wanted to have the deepest and richest of all “Texas” experiences, you’d go to Willie & Family’s Fourth of July picnic in Luckenbach, Texas.

Well Steve, your post worked for me. I downloaded two of Walt’s albums from iTunes after playing the video. A great addition to my very eclectic music library.

Thanks for a great story! My favorite sailing memories are summers aboard our families wood sailboat in Lake Huron’s North Channel listening to Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline. Seems that others were doing the same!
