Off Center Harbor's Remarks

We have long admired the clean lines of this Bobby Rich lobster yacht. Rich was one of the premier wooden boatbuilders in eastern Maine, and CIRQUE shows us why he has earned that reputation.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

CIRQUE is a 1986 lobster yacht built by Robert Rich at Bass Harbor Boatshop. Her hull is solid cedar planking on oak frames, traditionally built, and in perfect condition. She offers a great setup for coastal cruising with a V-berth and head below, and a raised main salon/galley that includes a beautiful steering station and settee that turns into an additional full-sized bunk. She would also make a great commuter, as the pilothouse is fully enclosed for maximum protection from the elements.

Work in recent years includes new windows in salon and dash, new electronics, new swim platform, rebuilding of both port and starboard cabin sides, new toe rails, new aft storage bench seat, new canvas for all cushions, full winter cover, and most importantly a new 2014 Marine Power Vortec 5.7L 300hp with less than 300 hours.
