Off Center Harbor's Remarks

(Was $69,300) In the age of sail, Maine was known for its handsome “coasters,” that plied the state’s long and varied coastline. Toward the end of that era, naval architect Murray Peterson entered the scene with the vision that he could design schooner yachts small enough to be family cruisers, yet reminiscent of the great coasters of generations past. He succeeded brilliantly and NORTH STAR is a lovely example of his talent. Great boats often find themselves in the hands of great owners who shower their prize possessions with great care. Her listing shows that she was recently surveyed by Paul Haley, a surveyor with a reputation for meticulous integrity. If you’re interested in buying NORTH STAR we are confident that Haley’s survey will help you know whether you should pursue her purchase further.

Description from Boat's Main Listing

North Star is a shining example of Murray Peterson’s Coastal Cruiser design. Built in Camden, ME the boat underwent a significant rebuild in 2002. North Star is in Falmoth, MA available for viewing.
