I’m Built in 1972 by Beck and Sohne boatyard in Germany (still in business).
Included is:
An outboard engine with a custom stainless retractable bracket on the aft deck so the motor can be on the deck when sailing and lowered into the water as needed. It easily moves the boat at hull speed …about 6 knots. The outboard also has a generator and is wired to charge the 12volt battery in the boat (for running lights, bilge pump, instruments, Autohelm, etc.) when running.
3 headsails, 2 mains, several spinnakers.
A 3-axle road trailer custom built for the boat to fully support the hull with 6 boatyard type jack stands. The boat on the trailer is about 46’ long and weighs about 8500# so it can be towed with a pickup or SUV rated for that load. It also has supports to carry the 42’ mast. It’s a big plus because, for a keelboat like this, you would normally have to hire and schedule a special boat transporter to move it anywhere without the trailer.
The boat is in the water in Port Madison. It needs new varnish and some of the frames need repair.
