TALLY HO – Episode 203 – Back to the Boatyard… Lessons Learned & Things to Fix


Watch Leo Goolden as he brings back the 47’ teak-planked TALLY HO to the glorious gaff cutter she was when launched over a hundred years ago in England. This vessel, designed by Albert Strange, now lies in a shed in Boat Haven in Port Townsend, WA.

October 19th, 2024 – TALLY HO – Episode 203: Back to the Boatyard… Lessons Learned & Things to Fix

In this episode, after visiting another uncharted anchorage, Leo and his crew sail their longest passage yet – racing to arrive in Victoria in time for the Classic Boat Festival.

Finally, they complete their summer shakedown trip! …returning to the boatyard in Port Townsend, and considering all the things that have broken or didn’t work properly during the summer.
