Very interesting how the matriarch and her daughter lead in this some what modern yet ancient world hidden away in the pacific. We have matriarch leaders in some of our Alaskan tribes too. Thanks Tom for taking us there
Joan Maxwell says:
Absolutely fascinating to see this wonderfully different world with such a sensitive guide: Tom. Loved all the shots of sharks and manta rays just going about their business. Loved what Tom said about how lucky he was to go safely around the island and his thoughtful contrast with the way things were when the first European visited the island. Thank you!

Thanks for another unusual and insightful glimpse of life. Simple and full.
