Nice to see Adventuress as one of your favorites. Our friend Dan Evans (and grandson of Bob and Ellamary Thorpe – great Thunderbird sailors) has been one of the captains. It is always a pleasure to watch Adventuress on Puget Sound and coming into Gig Harbor.

In the days of my youth when my Uncle Sam was kind enough to pay me to hang in Hawaii and further west, I used to volunteer on the FALLS of CLYDE. First introduction to pitching seams and climbing rigging. That memory will be there even if the vessel isn’t. Not a bad thing.
