Was it nature, or nurture? In my case, I suspect, both.
From Nature:
Growing up in Oklahoma, I knew my ancestors and some of those around me were the pioneers of this county who sailed west on prairie schooners. True, those wagons weren’t on water, but the skills of navigation, intimacy with weather, a passion and the courage for adventure, clearly match thetraits of a serious sailor. If horse and wagon is your best transport, then so be it. Just go. With their example, I did.
