The end of scallop season brings our good friend and local fisherman Cecil Holdens boat out of the water to get rerigged to fish for Lobster’s this spring. Long Set is typical of the commercial boats you see here on the mid coast, husky yet beautiful to look at in the early morning light. This vessel has kept my family well fed on fresh scallops as big around as a can of soda all wintr long. Thank you Cecil.

Once the deck is on, is there enough room to make the inevitable repairs? Will you then need an extra skinny repair man?
