New Off Center Skiff for Sale

May 27, 2018

Steve Stone

This brand new Off Center Skiff is being launched today, and then auctioned off in a sealed-bid silent auction. She looks very well built (by a talented boat builder and local kids in Harpswell, Maine).

Bidding starts at $2,500, and the auction proceeds are going to a very worthwhile cause — keeping the working waterfront alive in a small Maine community.

Here's how to bid (DEADLINE TO BID IS MONDAY THE 28TH AT NOON):

Email Anne Flannery at [email protected]

Here's the information from the builder/seller about the boat, and the beneficiary of the auction proceeds:

Ann Flannery and the Harpswell Boatbuilders, youth ages 8-15 yrs. to launch an Off Center Skiff the “Salty Dawg”, Sunday, May 27th at 12:00 noon, at Holbrook’s Wharf in Cundy’s Harbor, Harpswell, Maine.

The boat will be sold to the highest bidder with bidding starting at $2500. All proceeds go to the Holbrook Community Foundation. Accepting bids by email up until noon on May 28th. Send bids to [email protected]

This has been a good fund raising method for us down here in Port Aransas Texas. Our local skiffs are always a popular auction item.

    Good luck on the venture.
