There is an opportunity, alongside the many challenges we’re all facing, to come together and strengthen the classic and wooden boating field in ways that we never have.
There’s also an opportunity for classic boat lovers to become more aware of, and feel more connected to, the many wonderful things happening all around the globe.

The lifeblood of this field is provided by festivals, shows, schools, museums, boatbuilders and many other artisans and organizations. The truth is, we haven’t all been as connected and aware of each other’s work as we could be. Then the pandemic arrived and has been creating more distance between us all. With shows, festivals and school programs cancelled, ethusiasts and the next generation of craftspeople are beginning to feel this distance as well.
