Question: Mr. Sauzedde glued a batten to close the gap between two planks because the gap was so wide caulking cotton would have fallen into the boat interior. What is the minimum width of a gap that requires a batten? I’m caulking an H12 where several planks have gaps that a putty knife slips through.
