Description from Boat's Main Listing

Sometime ago, we received the sad news that NYMPH, this slippery double-ended power cruiser that we offer drawings for and are featuring as a building project, chafed through her mooring pennant during an early fall storm, blew ashore, and was damaged enough to be declared a total loss.

NYMPH is now on the auction block with offers of $40,000 or more being considered.

From what we can see, the damage, although severe, consists primarily of chafe to the hull, occasionally penetrating the ‘glass sheathing. Word is that she didn’t fill with seawater but washed ashore without system or engine damage. We’ve not seen a survey, but there should be one.

Here’s an opportunity for any OCH member to whom the Aroha design has spoken, to get a jump on owning one. Check out Cooper Capital Special Salvage LLC. (Offering #43105)

The deadline for bids is November 5th.
