Dawn Kish Rediscovers Glen Canyon and Tad Nichols

This film is about a conservation photographer, Dawn Kish, documenting the hidden treasure of the Southwest known as Glen Canyon. Despite being only a short/trailer, I found it intensely compelling.

This epic landscape of red sandstone walls, flowing rivers and cultural sites is under a giant reservoir called Lake Powell. Glen Canyon is taking an unexpected turn and its destiny is still unknown…

Can’t wait for the release of the full film.

The Place That No One Knew by Eliot Porter is another incredible collection of haunting images of this lost national treasure that really helped drive home what was obscured by the Bureau of Reclamation’s insatiable hunger.

Can’t wait to see this film, thank you for the heads up!
