Remember that popular t-shirt from the ’70’s: “He who dies with the most toys wins.”?
We’ve learned a lot since those days, and when I see some of the wonderful filmmaking happening at the margins today, often sponsored by commercial interests, I wonder if we’re witnessing the beginning of a transition to something along the lines of: “He/she who dies closest to the earth and friends wins.”?
The transition J.T. describes from “stomping right by” to “filling our aprons” takes constant discipline for me, but it might just be the thing . . .
Here’s JT’s fly fishing/guiding website.
John Pazereskis says:
I wish the fisherman had learned to use the traditional “blocking” form of fly casting.
David Sinclair says:
Fine form, fly fishing, phenomenal food, and friendships will ‘fill anyone’s apron’ – une film extraordinaire!

Thank you…
In the busy world we are thrust out into every day, it is such a relief to find a few moments of calm, absorbing the peace from videos such as these…
