Here’s a 90-second video that won a rare seal of approval from my 23 year-old kids.
I don’t send my kids much in the way of advice, because they’ve been in the vortex of late-teen/early-twenties age-range that blocks such input from parents. There’s an external force field surrounding them that dissolves advice before it enters the field. If something does slip through the field, the rejection for such a trespass of advice-giving is total silence and it comes swiftly.
But I did send this video to them, and it received a rare seal of long-winded gushing approval in the response: “good”
I included it near the bottom of one of the recent posts about Tom Robinson, but thought it’s worth highlighting on its own so everyone is sure to see it.
Mark Folkerts says:
A good thought, although I might add “ or to the advantage of those around you”.
I think we need to rebuild a community first mindset.

Always liked Michael Caine and wow, what sage advice. Thanks for sharing..
