Evelyn Ansel was a guest speaker a few weeks ago at Finland’s Classic Boat Symposium and this is her presentation. The first part covers a brief (and familiar to many viewers) illustrated history of the Herreshoff brothers and the boats that came from their Herreshoff Manufacturing Co. between 1878 and 1945. Midway through, however, Evelyn shifts to expound upon the possibilities and obligations that maritime museums face during the digital age. Her message, as usual, is worth a listen!
