The Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building


For 41 years, the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding has been teaching craftsmanship through boatbuilding and marine systems. Our 7-acre waterfront campus at the south end of Port Townsend Bay hosts more than 20,000 square feet of shop space and is located in the heart of more than 100 maritime business on the Olympic Peninsula. Students come from the United States and around the world to learn and hone skills for a career in the marine trades.
