Before I flip the boat back over I wanted to make a permanent boat dolly. Admittedly a bit over-engineered, but wanted it to be able to traverse non-paved areas. I set a couple of #4 screws into the keel to mark the aft position the dolly should sit.
now I worry whether the boat sitting in the cradle will be bow heavy or stern heavy. Anyone know where the balance point is fore and aft?

I just ordered a boat dolly from Amazon. It will be delivered tomorow – hope it does what I need it to do. I want to be able to store it on land next to a small lake in my neighborhood and be able to launch it by myself. We’ll see how it goes. Check out my blog http://www.tomsboat.com.
