      I glued up the various piece parts on the center thwart today. Nothing terribly exciting, no drama. As always, having a variety of clamps helps.
      After the epoxy work above, I started getting the bow thwart area ready for primer. I am leaving the watertight areas finished with just the epoxy. No need to spend $$$ on paint in an area only archeologists will ever see. Paint won’t make it any more water tight

      So, kind of a quiet day, no great leaps of progress. Now that all the major epoxy work is done, I will focus on paint prep, color selection (still a TBD). Lots of sanding, more fillets to be made, close up the fixed pieces,on the bow, stern and center thwarts
